Sweet Potato Festival in Aljezur (13/11/09)
Dear members and friends of AEZA;
It will happen one more edition of the festival of sweet potato in Aljezur, in the coming days 4, 5 and 6 December, in which the AEZA will once again be present with a booth to collect donations, sale of accessories and most importantly, dissemination of activities and develop the association.
I come this way to appeal to the spirit of altruism and solidarity of all who are available and interested in helping, we are able to form a team of at least 6 people, as will the small groups that will be on duty to stand for 3 days so installment.
Those who can not be part of this group, we expect the same for the visit, which is always good to give strength and courage to our cause!
I look and I thank you in advance for your willingness, whose entries may be made by the same route.

This beautiful dog was found and he´s at our shelter.
Please spread the word by email or putting the poster around in order to help us find his owner or if we can´t find him in a few days, a trustworthy person to adopt him.

Well...here he is, in great shape in his new German house.

Dear Friend Lovers,
Here we have Cuca, that I´ve had in my house to turn her more sociable and human friend. She stayed in my home until she left us to go to Germany, thanks to Gerlinde.
In these photos we can see Cuca and her new family whom she´s been for two months.
The family (Herman and Verena Hatzelman) thanks us all and are very pleased with Cuca.
These are great news for us, for Aljezur, for AEZA and most specially for Luisa and Marisa.

Dear friends,
You can see above photos from Maria after her adoption of my own.
These are the 1st day photos when Maria arrived to her new home so we´re still preparing her new spot. She´s staying in a place were she will live for long time but I´m still making some arrangements to make the place even better for her.
In this place Maria will have lots of space to run, jump and walk along (in a controlled environment) however she prefers sleeping under a tree.
I hope you all like these photos but better are yet to come. I´m going to give a nice bath to Maria and even make a better place for her around.

On 2nd of May 2009, between 9.30am to 13pm, it will be present, near Municipal Market of Aljezur, a Divulgation and Fund Raising Place to help the dogs and cats of AEZA.

Dear all,
Here we have our fury friend Manolo, recued by AEZA and as you can see, he´s at new home in Berlim. Carola and her daughter Paula love Manolo and are very proud with this wonderful friend adoption.
We wish Manolo and his new family a happy life!!

Rescue news (22/01/09)
Dear all!!
This beautiful dog was rescued by AEZA with the help of other animal lovers after they´ve found him walking around near by old school C+S with a broken rope on his neck.
We believe that this dog is lost so we´re anxiously looking for his owners.
It´s a young and kind animal with large size that we´ve given temporary name as Bufallo.
We appreciate all the help you can give us to solve this case.

Here we have our three friends, Fagulha, Pirata and Negrito that left AEZA to a new life in Germany on the last weekend...
The photos refered to their new home arrival.
Three more lives that AEZA saved thanks to all your support: more active volunteers and in particular to Gerlinde that
have found their new homes where we certainly hope that make them very happy

I wanted to send you a note to introduce myself as Pala's proud new owner. She has been with me a week and it feels like we have been together for years. I am so happy and I think Pala is too. She has settled really well and it is fantastic to watch her run in the woods or on the beach. She's great off the leash and is a joy to walk. I'm lucky that I have both the beach and woods nearby so there is no shortage of great walking routes.
I wanted to thank you for rescuing Pala and for all the great work you do. Pala is a great addition to my life and she has already brought so much joy and fun into my life. You can rest assured that I will do my very best to give her a fun, safe and happy life.
It would be great to keep in touch.
